West Palm Facility
15,000 sqft. of growth in 2022
Gillen Yacht Services is the leading provider of custom yachting solutions, especially to classed yachts, and this past year we opened our second location with a new 15,000-square-foot facility in Palm Beach to serve our yacht customers better.
In addition to our new shop in Palm Beach, we are licensed and insured to work at all local boat yards. Our technicians and
Lloyds-certified welders are trained to a high standard and fully insured, allowing us to offer our clients the highest possible quality of service.
In addition to all the services we offer in Ft Lauderdale, the Palm Beach location will focus on engine room ventilation systems, bow and stern thruster installs, gyro stabilizers, HVAC and a variety of high-end product installations. GYS specializes in fabrication services.

NEW MANAGEMENT
Tony Matherly joins GYS management
On behalf of the entire GYS team, we are proud to welcome Tony Matherly, our new operations
manager for our Palm Beach location. Tony brings over 30 years of marine experience in yacht servicing, starting his marine experience in Fort Lauderdale at the Broward Shipyard. During
his career he has worked at many prestigious boatyards, including Trinity Yachts in New
Orleans and Rybovich Boatyard in Palm Beach. Tony more recently oversaw production for
Delta T Ventilation systems which GYS currently installs on many of its customer yachts.
Matherly will oversee the production crew in his new role to ensure and improve quality assurance, fabrication, and service delivery timelines.
Tony’s knowledge of high-end yacht maintenance is extensive and coincides with our growing West Palm Beach location. With Tony’s experience and leadership, our Palm Beach customers can expect the same high-level of service that they have relied on from our Fort Lauderdale location.
