Gillen Yacht Services, Inc. is a full-service yacht refit and repair facility operating for the past 30 years in the Ft Lauderdale market providing quality services for yachts ranging from 50 to 300 ft. We have recently opened a new operations in Palm Beach. We are looking for the right individual to be a part of this ground floor opportunity. GYS has expertise in every area of yacht repair – we provide one-stop shopping for our client’s vessels.
About the Job
We are looking for experienced Fiberglass Technicians. Responsibilities include performing a variety of fiberglass projects on yachts. • Ability to perform Fiberglass repairs • Ability to create fiberglass components from template to final product • Understands fiberglass process, methodology and products • Cleans tools and work area • Works with other technicians as needed • Able to cooperate with other departments to accomplish project goals • Follow defined instructions and procedures • Can work independently • Has tools necessary to perform job duties
Experience & Requirements
The right candidate will have a minimum of 2 plus years experience working on high end yachts and pride themselves in delivering a quality product. • Experience working with Fiberglass on high end yachts • High School Diploma or GED • Drivers License and good driving record • Proper Tools
